Position Summary
  • The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be integral to our Dynamic Sales Solution Service, focusing on strategic, proactive sales efforts for a portfolio of six multi-branded hotels across North America.
  • This role is primarily remote and reports directly to the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic sales initiatives for a portfolio of six multi-branded hotels, fostering a sales-oriented culture among General Managers and Front Desk teams through best practices and peer coaching.
  • Ensure return on investment for hotel partners while meeting revenue targets within a six-month sales cycle.
  • Identify and activate new accounts in the local market, enhancing market share from existing clients through targeted prospecting efforts. Conduct bi-weekly sales strategy meetings via MS Teams to discuss progress.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM to manage accounts and expedite the sales process.
  • Collaborate with your assigned team to support the Dynamic Sales Solution model and drive revenue across our hotel portfolio.
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences, managing expectations and ensuring high levels of satisfaction by representing clients with professionalism and integrity.
  • Occasional travel for in-market visits to strengthen relationships with hotel owners and management teams, expanding sales opportunities.
Qualifications

Experience in Hotel Sales:

  • A minimum of three consecutive years in hotel guestroom sales, particularly in business transient, crew, and government segments within select service hotels.
  • Preferred two years in a dual or area sales role.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems, the RFP process, and brand tools.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills to convert prospecting efforts into revenue.
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with hotel clients and team members.
  • General knowledge of hotel operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with CRM systems to manage sales pipelines and accountability for daily activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) for managing hotel portfolios, creating reports, and delivering presentations.
  • Ability to work remotely for extended periods.
