Your Role

Position Summary:
The Logistics Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the management and operations of the warehouse. This role is crucial for ensuring the secure receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of materials to operational teams. The supervisor will maintain inventory control through physical counts and reconcile stock levels with our data management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee warehouse inventory management, shipping processes, and overall warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate and schedule the movement of goods within the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and shipment of finished products.
  • Review sales orders and invoices, implementing daily production and shipping plans while managing excess stock storage.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as sales orders, invoices, productivity reports, and packing lists.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promoting continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and company vehicles as necessary.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of parts to support production and assembly needs.
  • Establish and uphold a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Document all activities and participate in process and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage the daily flow of finished products by adjusting storage assignments as needed.
  • Verify item availability for shipping by checking inventory records or conducting physical counts.
  • Identify slow-moving products and, with approval, arrange for their removal. Assist the operations team with fulfillment and quality control.
  • Complete all necessary forms and reports related to warehouse activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of company product codes and terminology or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to acquire new skills, software, and technologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions regarding inventory management.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain a safe workspace through sound judgment.
  • Capability to stand, stoop, squat, and bend for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk long distances and navigate uneven terrain.
  • Tolerance for various weather conditions.
  • Good vision and depth perception (corrective lenses are acceptable).
  • Ability to sit and drive for prolonged periods.
  • Capacity to lift a minimum of 10 lbs, with potential lifting of up to 50 lbs.
