Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. In this role, you will ensure the effective handling of a diverse range of products, maintaining high standards of efficiency and productivity.

This is a PART-TIME position. Candidates must be willing to work ON SITE.

** LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED **

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively oversee warehouse operations in alignment with company policies and strategic goals.
  • Continuously enhance understanding of the logistics landscape.
  • Act as a key point of contact between logistics partners and transportation providers.
  • Manage all aspects of receiving, warehousing, distribution, and third-party logistics operations.
  • Design warehouse layout to maximize space efficiency.
  • Initiate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations.
  • Uphold health, safety, hygiene, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to optimize financial performance.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, team members, customer service, and transport companies.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
  • Monitor service quality and address feedback promptly.
  • Resolve issues related to packages and drivers as they arise.
  • Be physically capable of lifting boxes weighing up to 30 pounds regularly.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Lead.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse management practices and procedures.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems and databases.
  • Strong leadership abilities and staff management skills.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • A degree in a related field is preferred.
