We are currently in search of a Windows PowerShell Engineer to enhance our team. This position involves supporting various Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives, particularly in the realm of tactical networks.

Compensation: Competitive salary range based on experience.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engineering support for tactical network software, managing engineering change requests.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to resolve technical issues.
  • Provide advanced support for desktop, server, and LAN environments, focusing on Microsoft Windows technologies.
  • Utilize your expertise in design, installation, and maintenance across various operating systems.
  • Respond to service requests and engineering change requests efficiently.
  • Prepare and present technical briefs to engineering and government review teams.
  • Offer Tier 3 technical support for escalated issues.
  • Assist the virtualization team with technology support and pre-test activities.
  • Analyze data and validate performance characteristics through testing.
  • Evaluate new technologies for compliance with established standards and security requirements.
  • Develop automated solutions for Windows Server systems using PowerShell and related tools.
Your Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Possession of a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in installing, configuring, and managing multi-system environments.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in multitasking and managing competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing and related processes.
  • At least 3 years of experience with a variety of IT products.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Navy IT-21 networks.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as ESX VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Microsoft Certified System Engineer/Administrator credentials.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience with Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager.
  • Knowledge of Windows PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience in deploying and managing virtualized systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Active Directory and various Windows Server versions.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
Education and Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physical Science.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE).
  • 6 years of experience in a technical field related to systems analysis and support.
  • 3 years of knowledge in DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.
  • 3 years of experience in virtualization and shared storage.
  • Preference for experience with Navy or DoD systems.
