Job Description

Our client, a leading IT Solutions Company, is seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and solutions to clients, ensuring their business needs are met.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide pre- and post-sales support, including discovery meetings, site visits, proposals, and presentations.
  • Deploy and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory.
  • Design and implement Local Area Networks.
  • Implement and monitor network security measures.
  • Optimize and maintain network software and hardware.
  • Build and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions.
  • Configure and deploy VOIP solutions.
  • Perform network infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Manage Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Provide technical support for telephone solutions.
  • Monitor alert systems and take appropriate action as per guidelines.
  • Use event logs to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Escalate service requests requiring enhanced response.
  • Onboard new users and ensure a smooth transition.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, and workstations, Exchange server, and Active Directory.
  • Three years of experience in a client-facing environment, such as sales engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with clients at a business level to understand their current and historic issues.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience writing proposals for and implementing technical solutions to fulfill business needs.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player.
  • Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • Experience with RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools, such as Kaseya or Connectwise, is a plus.
  • Experience with PSA (ticketing system) tools, such as Autotask or Connectwise, is a plus.
  • Ability to problem-solve at a high level, with extraordinary customer service skills, strong multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Sales training experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in an MSP environment is a major plus.
Ideal Qualifications
  • CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
  • MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) MCITP Microsoft Certified IT Professional, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) certifications.
  • CCNA or CCIE-Cisco certifications are a real plus.
