As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing customer feedback, overseeing product returns, and providing essential support across various departments. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing our Gasoline System Products and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage customer complaint processes effectively.
- Provide technical support to resolve production issues and defects.
- Collaborate with customer representatives to address functional challenges and identify areas for improvement.
- Engage with production teams to enhance machining and assembly processes.
- Utilize and promote system/process improvement methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, MSA, 8D, PDCA, and CIP.
- Implement automated solutions to streamline processes.
- Prepare and complete necessary quality documentation for customer audits and failure analysis.
- Support engineering efforts in the evaluation and testing of equipment.
- Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
- Independently manage departmental projects aimed at improving cost efficiency and quality.
- Demonstrate self-sufficiency in handling complex tasks and managing multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective presentations and proposals.
- Able to interact with all organizational levels and collaborate with product testing teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven team facilitation skills to motivate and lead improvement initiatives.
- Proficient in computer applications including MS Office, SAP, and statistical analysis tools.
