Your Role:
As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will:

  • Lead performance and improvement initiatives for the final assembly line in the CC ESP product area.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement lean manufacturing principles (BPS) across the value stream, focusing on equipment design, selection, layouts, and material flow.
  • Create and uphold manufacturing documentation and quality plans in line with company standards, including process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEA, PQIs, and standard work instructions.
  • Coordinate engineering changes and new product releases (PPAP).
  • Identify and spearhead projects aimed at enhancing safety, cost efficiency, quality, delivery, and manufacturing process utilization to align with Policy Deployment objectives.
  • Plan and oversee capital equipment acquisition and installation, ensuring successful preacceptance, final acceptance, and safe launch.
  • Utilize MES and other analytical tools for daily management, meeting targets, and driving continuous performance improvement.
  • Assist in business planning and manage the implementation of expense budgets.
  • Collaborate frequently with cross-departmental teams to achieve local objectives and benchmark continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 1-3 years of technical experience.
  • Experience in high-volume technology manufacturing processes, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing systems and concepts (BPS).
  • Strong project leadership skills and the ability to prioritize workloads effectively.
  • Experience in utilizing problem-solving techniques to address complex manufacturing challenges (Six Sigma, Shainin, 5 Whys).
  • Knowledge of highly automated equipment technologies, including robots, automated axis systems, press/torque technology, vision systems, and feeding systems.
  • Experience with MES systems, programming languages, PLC programming, or data visualization tools like Tableau/PowerBI is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel, including internationally, for equipment acceptance and related activities.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.
