Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee manufacturing engineering initiatives and enhancement projects for the final assembly line within the CC ESP product domain.
  • Implement and uphold lean manufacturing methodologies (BPS) across the value stream, focusing on equipment design, selection, layouts, and material flow.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation and quality plans in alignment with corporate standards, including process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEA, PQIs, and standard work instructions.
  • Coordinate and execute engineering modifications and new product launches (PPAP).
  • Identify and spearhead projects aimed at improving safety, cost efficiency, quality, delivery, and manufacturing process utilization to achieve Policy Deployment goals.
  • Plan and manage capital equipment acquisition and installation, ensuring safe launch and compliance with preacceptance and final acceptance criteria.
  • Utilize MES and other analytical tools for daily management to meet performance targets and foster continuous improvement.
  • Assist in business planning and oversee the implementation of expense budgets.
  • Collaborate frequently with IPN and cross-departmental teams to meet local objectives and benchmark continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 1-3 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Preferred experience in high-volume manufacturing processes within the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing systems and principles (BPS).
  • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Experience in utilizing problem-solving techniques to address complex manufacturing challenges (Six Sigma, Shainin, 5 whys).
  • Knowledge of highly automated equipment technologies, including robotics, automated systems, and vision systems.
  • Preferred experience with MES systems, programming languages, PLC control systems, or data visualization tools like Tableau/PowerBI.
  • Willingness to travel for equipment acceptance and IPN activities.
  • Foreign language proficiency is an advantage.
