Job Overview

Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Software Integration Specialist to join our team in support of a significant initiative within the Department of Defense. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver software integration assistance for both destructive and nondestructive builds across multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
  • Utilize automation tools to compile source code and facilitate the integration of Government Off The Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software.
  • Coordinate with Tactical Data Systems (TDSs) and other software platforms to enable effective data exchange and interface management.
  • Support integration lab operations, including network setup, configuration, and maintenance, as well as hardware and software installation.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment to enhance overall performance and mentor junior team members.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant technical experience in C4ISR engineering, software development, or integration programs, including:
    • Proficiency in compiling source code using various automation tools.
    • Knowledge of scripting for operating systems and Information Assurance Vulnerabilities Management.
    • Experience in schema development and software assurance code review.
    • Expertise in system design and interoperability, with a focus on modernizing software baselines.
    • Conducting integration-level quality assurance testing to ensure product functionality meets established requirements.
  • Additional experience may include:
    • Subject matter expertise on DoD systems related to defects and cybersecurity.
    • Familiarity with programs such as Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC) and Global Command and Control System.
    • Experience in Agile/SAFe environments.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with platforms and tools such as VMware, PowerShell, and Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of Ansible and YAML/JSON.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools like SharePoint and JIRA.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, or Computer Science is preferred.
  • Desired certifications include Microsoft Certified Professional or Red Hat Certified System Administrator.

Security Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active SECRET clearance is required.
