- Oversee manufacturing engineering performance and enhancement initiatives for a final assembly line within the CC ESP product sector.
- Develop, uphold, and implement lean manufacturing principles (BPS) across the value stream concerning equipment design, selection, layouts, and material flow.
- Generate and maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans in alignment with company standards (including process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEA, PQIs, process control documentation, standard work instructions, etc.).
- Facilitate and coordinate engineering modifications and new manufacturing/product launches (PPAP).
- Identify and spearhead projects aimed at enhancing safety, cost efficiency, quality, delivery, and utilization of manufacturing processes to achieve Policy Deployment goals.
- Plan and execute capital equipment (MAE) acquisition and installation, including preacceptance/final acceptance/safe launch.
- Direct daily management of the area using MES and other analytics/data to meet targets and derive measures for continuous performance improvement.
- Assist with business planning activities and manage/lead the implementation of expense budgets.
- Collaborate frequently with IPN and cross-departmental colleagues to achieve local objectives and benchmark continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 1-3 years of technical experience
- Experience in high-volume/technology manufacturing processes within the automotive sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing systems and concepts (BPS).
- Project leadership capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet established targets.
- Proven ability to work within cross-functional teams with a high degree of self-initiative.
- Experience employing problem-solving techniques to address complex manufacturing challenges (Six Sigma, Shainin, 5 whys).
- Proficiency with highly automated equipment technologies, such as robots, automated axis systems, press/torque technology, vision systems, and feeding systems.
- Preferred experience with any of the following: MES systems, programming languages, PLC programming, or Tableau/PowerBI.
- Willingness to travel (including internationally) for equipment acceptance/buyoff and IPN activities.
- Foreign language skills are a plus.
