Technical Software Integration Consultant

Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Software Integration Specialist to contribute to a significant project within the defense sector. This role involves providing essential integration support for various software systems, ensuring seamless operation across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver software integration assistance for both destructive and nondestructive builds on Windows and Linux systems.
- Utilize automation tools for compiling source code and support the integration of Government Off The Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software.
- Collaborate with Tactical Data Systems (TDSs) and software platforms to facilitate data exchange and interface management.
- Oversee integration lab operations, including network setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Encourage effective team dynamics to enhance overall performance and mentor junior team members.
- A minimum of three (3) years in C4ISR engineering, software development, or integration programs, including:
- Experience with compiling source code using automation tools.
- Proficiency in operating system scripting and software update management.
- Expertise in schema development and software assurance code review.
- Knowledge of system design and interoperability for modernization efforts.
- Conducting integration-level quality assurance testing to validate functionality.
- Additional experience in:
- DoD systems and initiatives, including defect management and cybersecurity.
- Support for Command and Control systems and related programs.
- Agile / SAFe methodologies.
- Familiarity with platforms such as VMware, PowerShell, and various Windows and Linux versions.
- Working knowledge of Ansible and YAML/JSON.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with collaboration tools like SharePoint and JIRA.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, or Computer Science is preferred.
- Desired certifications include Microsoft Certified Professional or Red Hat Certified System Administrator.
- Progress towards Agile/Scrum/SAFe certifications is advantageous.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active SECRET clearance is required.
- This position requires travel.
- COVID-19 vaccination may be required based on customer site mandates.
