Position Overview
As a motivated and committed professional, you will play a vital role in addressing the needs of public, parochial, juvenile justice agencies, and charter school districts, focusing on career and college readiness solutions. In this position, you will be an integral part of Pearson's sales force, concentrating on College and Career Readiness Learning Solutions within your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure sales opportunities within school districts to achieve quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with an Executive Account Manager to coordinate efforts in larger educational institutions.
- Develop comprehensive product knowledge to effectively address complex inquiries and deliver tailored solutions.
- Manage and nurture leads in your territory, ensuring optimal solutions for each prospect.
- Renew and expand existing business while actively seeking new opportunities.
- Utilize organizational tools and marketing resources to enhance sales performance.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Participate in RFP/RFQ processes as needed, providing expert insights.

Success Metrics
- Meet or exceed established sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements that address customer challenges and promote profitable transactions.
- Build a reputation for proactive problem-solving and exceptional customer service.

Candidate Profile
- Proven sales experience of 1+ years or 5+ years in education, demonstrating a track record of success.
- A bachelor's degree is required; a background in education or technology sales is advantageous.
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities are crucial for success in this role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating quick learning and multitasking capabilities.
