ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Human Resource Assistant, you will acquire essential knowledge regarding the workers' compensation programs within the Commonwealth. Your duties will encompass:

  • Utilizing various software applications for data entry and document management.
  • Responding to phone calls and email inquiries to provide assistance on standard matters.
  • Reviewing and processing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Engaging with the workers' compensation claims administration system to further develop your skills in this domain.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.
  • Standard work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 60-minute lunch break.
  • Telework: There may be an opportunity for part-time remote work, provided you have a secure high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location within Pennsylvania.
  • Salary: The starting salary may be non-negotiable in certain instances.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Experience and Training:

  • At least one year of clerical or comparable experience involving the acquisition, provision, and evaluation of information according to established standards; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must meet the residency requirements of Pennsylvania.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions is necessary.

Legal Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a Pennsylvania State Police background check is mandatory.
