Position Overview

The Vice President of Operations and Sales will be responsible for the comprehensive management of property operations across multiple manufactured home communities. This role demands a strategic leader with a strong focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of various communities, ensuring optimal performance and profitability.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain existing ones.
  • Manage budgeting processes, including the creation and monitoring of annual operating budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations regarding property management.
  • Lead and mentor community teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Address and resolve resident concerns promptly and professionally, maintaining high service standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold community standards and curb appeal.
  • Implement annual capital improvement plans to enhance property value.
  • Collaborate with homeowner associations to ensure community needs are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • In-depth knowledge of property management regulations and best practices.
  • Proficient in basic accounting principles and financial management.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
  • Familiarity with property management software is preferred.
