The Senior Vice President of Sales Strategy plays a pivotal role in driving the expansion and management of business partnerships and teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formulate and implement a strategic blueprint to meet sales objectives and broaden our clientele.
- Establish both short-term and long-term sales tactics while assessing the efficiency of existing sales initiatives and personnel.
- Exercise leadership duties in alignment with organizational guidelines and relevant regulations; responsibilities encompass recruiting and mentoring staff, organizing, delegating, and supervising tasks, evaluating performance, rewarding and addressing disciplinary actions, and resolving grievances.
- Set and execute sales goals and initiatives.
- Propose enhancements to products or services to elevate customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
- Define sales territories and serve as a key escalation point for the sales team and clients.
- Craft and deliver persuasive sales presentations that effectively communicate the advantages of our products and services.
- Develop the sales region, including fostering local partnerships and affiliations.
- Proactively generate new business leads through targeted outreach efforts, including networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals, and partnerships.
- Establish and nurture robust, enduring client relationships.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Enhance client acquisition and revenue growth with both existing and new accounts.
- Draft and review contractual agreements.
- Provide reports on achievements and areas for improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record as a sales leader, creating client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
- Prior experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or director of sales and marketing.
- Strong communication, presentation, and influence skills across all organizational levels, including executive and C-suite.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate the sales process from strategy to closure.
- Proven capability to articulate the unique features of products and services and position them against competitors.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license and be able to travel as needed within the service area.
