We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at LACROIX, a leading international industrial group.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a mid-cap company that is growing and diversifying its operations in North America. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing relationships with new customers, as well as managing existing accounts.

You will work closely with our sales team, marketing department, and back-office team to develop and implement strategic account plans, map customer organizations, and understand key selection criteria. You will also be responsible for feeding our back-office team with information collected on the field about market and techno trends, as well as competitor analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers
  • Apply strategic account planning methodology
  • Collect and analyze market and techno trends
  • Feed back-office team with information
  • Promote company at external events
  • Proactive reporting to VP Business Development

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development in B2B, preferably in electronics
  • Strong technical and sales background, with acute marketing sensitivity
  • Proven success in tailor-made services sales
  • Negotiation skills, rigorous and combative
  • Good communication capability
  • English speaking, Spanish is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (e.g. Office365, CRM-Dynamics)
