Role Summary

The primary responsibility of this position involves diagnosing and repairing sophisticated automated testing apparatus integrated with computers and peripheral devices utilized for product and software development, acceptance testing of manufactured goods, and customer applications. Additional tasks will encompass the periodic assembly of support equipment such as test cables and interface assemblies.

Essential Duties:

In this role, you will:
  • Diagnose and repair automated testing equipment integrated with computers and peripheral devices.
  • Utilize electronic measurement tools including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
  • Execute high-quality terminal crimping, wire routing, lacing, soldering, and component installation.
  • Understand and apply electrical safety standards for assembly and end-user operations (ranging from 120V 60Hz to 220V, 400Hz three-phase AC, and up to 270 VDC, including specialty power supplies).
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A solid understanding of both digital and analog electrical/electronic circuits.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware and interconnect protocols.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with engineering teams.
  • Capability to follow general written and verbal instructions.
  • A quick aptitude for learning new technologies.
Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • An associate degree from an accredited institution in electronic technology or a high school diploma/GED with equivalent documented experience.
  • Successful completion of a written assessment.

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers will be contingent upon the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
