A Day in the Life as the Human Resources AssistantAs a key member of the Human Resources team, the Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and informative experience for staff. This fast-paced role demands someone who thrives in a quickly changing environment, with a strong work ethic and service mindset.
Key Responsibilities:- HR Process Administration: Assist with on-boarding, benefits administration, and billing, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Staff Support: Provide responsive support to staff members, addressing questions and concerns related to Club policies, benefits, and HR processes.
- Event Planning: Assist with planning and coordinating staff events, trainings, and Club meetings.
- Metrics and Reporting: Prepare and analyze metrics related to turnover and retention, providing insights to inform HR strategies.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and provide backup support for the Payroll Administrator as needed.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain accurate records, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Strong computer skills, with experience using HRIS systems, preferably ADP.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Previous Office Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a professional setting, preferably in HR or a related field.
