Job Description

Job Summary:

The Commission Analyst will be responsible for reconciling commission payments from Verizon Wireless with sales data entered into the company's point-of-sale software. This role will also involve recovering outstanding payments through discrepancy submissions and responding to employee inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Commission Reconciliation: Assist in compiling monthly, company-wide Verizon commissions reports and matching them to market and RQ data.
  2. Exception Handling: Address and follow up on exceptions between Verizon and RQ.
  3. Timely Payment Submission: Submit information to the markets by their monthly deadline to ensure timely commissions payment to sales representatives.
  4. Communication: Communicate with markets and/or reps to determine commissions.
  5. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  1. Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Preferred Qualifications: College degree and proficiency with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Excel.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but could include daytime non-Monday through Friday, nights and weekends, rotating or changing shift, or Call Center schedule/hours. This is an in-office setting.
