Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at CareNow. As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our urgent care clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations, including managing wait times and the Web Check-in process.
  • Assist with daily clinic operations, including opening and closing the clinic in a timely and organized manner.
  • Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure adherence to financial policies, timekeeping, and established practices.
  • Manage individual or team performance, addressing visitor issues or complaints, and providing necessary follow-up training to staff.
  • Create a work schedule for patient representatives based on clinic needs.
  • Partner with marketing to implement and maintain marketing programs.
  • Prepare for and successfully complete clinic audits, reviews, and surveys.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting.
  • 1+ year of experience in supervising staff is preferred.
  • Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
  • BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
  • Within 3 months of employment or promotion, must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification.
