Lead Technical Sales Executive

The Lead Technical Sales Executive in the Automotive Sector is tasked with driving sales growth and enhancing profit margins through the management of existing and prospective client accounts within the automotive and OEM landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with automotive clients to achieve sales objectives.
- Ensure the specification of Parker products to maximize revenue, focusing on strategic opportunities for each account.
- Maintain in-depth technical expertise regarding EMG products, their applications, and competitive advantages.
- Secure specifications and approvals from engineering firms and major accounts to create new sales avenues.
- Monitor competitive products and market activities, providing regular updates to management and sales teams.
- Assist divisions in strategizing product offerings and services tailored to client needs.
- Gather and analyze market data to identify new revenue and margin opportunities.
- Direct Parker resources to fulfill customer requirements and enhance satisfaction.
- Manage ongoing customer interactions and communication in the automotive sector.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree with 7-10 years of experience in direct sales of technical industrial products.
- 3-5 years of experience specifically within the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and sustaining growth.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in PC applications.
- Ability to interpret and analyze engineering prints.
- Experience in Program Management and knowledge of APQP for automotive launches.
- Willingness to travel overnight as required.
Preferred:
- Technical degree.
- Relevant product and system certifications.
- Award-winning sales performance.
