About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Computing Sales Executive to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Public Sector team, you will be responsible for driving revenue and market share in a defined region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a growing customer base for our enterprise state government accounts.
  • Deepen business and technical relationships with customers and partners.
  • Launch new customer services by identifying and pursuing key opportunities.
  • Determine effective go-to-market strategies and collaborate with AWS Solution Architects, Partners, Legal, Marketing, Product, Capture/Contracts, and Executive leadership.
  • Establish deep business and technical relationships through knowledge of customer goals and environment.
  • Have day-to-day interactions with customers and our ecosystem of partners (SI's and ISV's) that support these customers.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • 7+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience and experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
