Position Overview
Kiewit Corporation is seeking a dedicated Construction Field Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our operations within the Bridge & Marine District, known for its expertise in heavy civil and marine construction across North America.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Interpreting technical drawings and specifications for field teams.
  • Conducting quantity assessments through precise measurements.
  • Assisting in the formulation of work plans and packages.
  • Providing support in field surveying and layout activities.
  • Compiling and confirming daily labor records.
  • Preparing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) to ensure safety compliance.
  • Participating in safety reviews and training sessions.
  • Coordinating material deliveries and scheduling.
  • Supervising field operations and managing work groups.
  • Performing material takeoffs and basic engineering calculations.
  • Supporting engineers in data preparation for various stakeholders.
  • Maintaining project records and correspondence.
  • Assisting in the generation of change orders and as-built documentation.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related engineering field.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A willingness to travel and adapt to various locations.
  • A commitment to safety and ethical practices.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
  • A valid Driver's License.
