Position Summary: The Senior Project Manager is a vital contributor to our organization, providing essential leadership and strategic direction in managing projects related to electrical power, communications, and industrial facilities. This role involves collaboration with executive management to influence high-level business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee program management for significant clients.
- Manage project finances, bidding processes, and safety protocols.
- Provide field support and general administration for projects.
- Mentor and train Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
- Travel as necessary to monitor and control project execution.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management, along with a minimum of 10 years of project management experience in complex transmission line or substation construction projects. A combination of education and experience in high-voltage electrical systems is also acceptable. Familiarity with electrical design of substations or switchyards is advantageous.
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent organizational abilities and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including basic formulas and spreadsheet management. Experience with Vista (Viewpoint) software is a plus.
Additional Information: Applicants must be able to pass all company and client-mandated drug and background checks. Occasional travel is necessary, and candidates must meet the auto insurance requirements of EPC Services Company. Note: Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with experience and education. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, paid parental leave, a 401(k) plan with profit sharing, and annual vacation accrual based on experience.
