Summit Oaks Hospital is a 126-bed private acute care facility and chemical dependency treatment center located in suburban Summit, NJ. Fully accredited by the Joint Commission, it has been delivering high-quality healthcare to adults, children, and adolescents in the northeastern United States since its inception in 1902. The hospital has received recognition in U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation’s top behavioral health institutions.

Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, or a related field is required. A Master's Degree in a healthcare-related discipline is preferred; CPHQ or other certifications in Quality are also preferred.

Experience:
Proven leadership in Performance Improvement is preferred.

A minimum of three years of experience in behavioral health or acute care is preferred.

Experience in healthcare quality, performance, or process improvement is preferred.

Additional Requirements:
Previous experience in preparing and delivering professional presentations to executive leadership teams is essential. Familiarity with accreditation activities and survey preparation is required. Experience with risk management, credentialing, grievances, Peer Review, or OPPE processes is necessary. Background in healthcare-related performance improvement or project management is also important. A demonstrated ability in leadership and supervision, knowledge of regulatory aspects of healthcare, QAPI principles, education, and outcomes is crucial. A comprehensive understanding of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations, and all other state and federal regulatory standards is desirable.
