Job Responsibilities- Perform thorough reviews of client coverage, exposure, and pricing, and communicate recommendations in a timely manner.
- Solicit additional business from existing clients and gain referrals for new prospects.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all available carriers and products, and sustain account retention and development.
- Handle problems and questions pertaining to clients as they arise.
- Update EPIC with account activity and send letters to clients confirming specific policy activity.
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a related position.
- Valid NJ State Property & Casualty Insurance license.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with insurance carriers such as Cincinnati, AIG, Chubb, Pure, and Travelers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
