Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, or a related field is required. A Master's Degree in a healthcare-related discipline is preferred; CPHQ or other quality certifications are also preferred.

Experience: Proven leadership in Performance Improvement is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in behavioral health or acute care settings is preferred. Experience in healthcare quality, performance, or process improvement is also preferred.

Additional Requirements: Prior experience in preparing and delivering professional presentations to executive leadership teams is essential. Familiarity with accreditation activities and survey preparation, provider performance improvement initiatives, and experience in risk management, credentialing, grievances, Peer Review, or OPPE processes is required. A solid background in healthcare-related performance improvement or project management is necessary. Proven leadership abilities, knowledge of regulatory aspects of healthcare, QAPI principles, education, and outcomes are critical. A comprehensive understanding of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations, and all other state and federal regulatory standards is desirable.
