As a vital member of the Urology team, the Medical Office Associate II is responsible for facilitating daily operational support through a variety of administrative functions while ensuring exceptional service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducts patient interviews to gather comprehensive case histories prior to scheduled appointments.
2. Manages the scheduling and coordination of patient appointments efficiently.
3. Diligently updates and maintains accurate health records for all patients.
4. Confirms insurance coverage and collaborates with the billing department to process claims effectively.
5. Communicates test results to patients as directed by healthcare providers.
6. Engages with patients regarding appointment confirmations and addresses billing inquiries.
7. Assists patients with rescheduling and resolving scheduling conflicts.
8. Performs additional related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
1. Associate's degree in Medical Office Management, Business, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office setting or relevant area.
3. Over 2 years of administrative experience.
