About the Role

CampusPoint is seeking a highly skilled Health Insurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Sales team, you will provide exceptional customer service and client support, while assisting Account Managers with reporting, documentation, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Key Accounts: Attend board meetings, manage incoming meeting requests, and assist with projects as needed.
  • Administrative Support: Process New Group Case Reports, send out renewals, Experience Reports, Schedule A's, Sales Reports, Performance Guarantees, packet requests, and other administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate Benefit Fairs: Participate in benefit fairs and open enrollment presentations to provide excellent customer service.
  • Establish Broker Relationships: Appoint brokers and process appointments through the appropriate State Insurance Office.
  • Update CRM and Retain Documentation: Analyze account information, make suggestions and recommendations, and update Dynamics CRM and retain critical documentation.
  • Problem-Solve Group Challenges: Balance being an advocate for both the Company and the account, and problem-solve various group challenges that arise.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and three years of experience in customer service, client relationship management, or sales OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with employee benefits either working for an insurance carrier, broker, or third-party administrator.
  • Ability to travel overnight and work extended hours during critical times, dependent upon business needs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license for the operation of a motor vehicle and possess an acceptable driving record.
  • Experience in the healthcare or insurance field preferred.
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM Database Management.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Work harmoniously and independently in a diverse, multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or problem approaches.
