POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role entails providing comprehensive administrative assistance to management and departmental programs. The incumbent will handle sensitive healthcare information and confidential data as required to fulfill job responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, exercising significant discretion and initiative.
  • Deliver word processing, data management, and spreadsheet services, including the use of graphics and presentation tools.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, which may encompass: responding to routine inquiries, managing phone communications, coordinating volunteer activities, organizing schedules and travel plans, maintaining confidential documentation, and supporting committees.

Additional duties may include:

  • Assuming leadership roles in various projects as directed.
  • Conducting research and compiling data for reports, proposals, and correspondence.
  • Facilitating meetings and community activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Providing information and referral services, maintaining resource directories, and offering minimal case management support.
  • Coordinating events, workshops, and other activities for direct service programs.
  • Assisting with other tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient understanding of office protocols and advanced skills in MS Office applications, with the ability to produce clear and grammatically correct written communications.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with diverse populations and personnel at all levels.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage departmental responsibilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, demonstrating initiative, resourcefulness, and sound judgment.
  • Familiarity with human service organizations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This role may be conducted in various settings, including professional offices and community centers. Employees may encounter:

  • Moderate noise levels typical of an office environment.

REMOTE WORK POLICY:
