Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Center Support PT. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing documentation, and performing administrative tasks to ensure seamless freight operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide accurate information and assistance to customers, including determining pick-up and delivery needs, resolving issues, and updating systems to meet customer requirements.
  • Documentation Processing: Verify and complete required documentation and reports, including freight bills and shipment information.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative/clerical functions, including data entry, sorting and distributing mail and packages, and maintaining files.
  • Freight Operations: Assist with freight pick-up and delivery processes, including making appointments and reviewing drivers' hours-of-service logs.
  • Communication: Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Experience: Two years of general office experience and one year of customer service experience preferred
  • Skills: Strong phone and interpersonal skills, ability to count and perform basic math, and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Qualifications: Ability to comprehend FedEx service products, use general office equipment, and type/data entry skills
