Job Description

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Admissions Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their families, while ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage participant statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Post charges and payments to statements, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Enter reservations, pre-admit, and admit participants into our software systems, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Assist on-campus participants with scheduling activities and appointments, providing a high level of customer service.
  • Conduct rotating Sunday afternoon orientation and tour for arriving participants, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Assemble arrival packets and binders, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Advanced written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise documents.
  • Intermediate typing skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Advanced safety-minded skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Intermediate problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Advanced planning and organizing skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Expert oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Expert customer focus skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Expert computer skills, with the ability to navigate and utilize software systems with ease.
  • Advanced attention to detail skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates or better in Nursing/Healthcare, with a strong understanding of healthcare principles and practices.
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare, with a strong background in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Customer service experience, behavioral/mental health, or personal assisting experience, with a strong understanding of the importance of empathy and compassion.
