Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Durham Marriott City Center. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling guest complaints, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Provide superior guest services, including check-in and check-out, to hotel guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Payment Processing: Process all payments according to established hotel requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers to ensure a positive and efficient experience.
  • Reporting: Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments and personnel.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping and other departments.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding. Computer experience preferred.
  • Language: Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
