About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at Roadrunner Markets Inc. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, emptying trash bins, and refilling window washing stations.
  • Sales and Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to customers, and provide recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive and supportive team environment, and provide assistance as needed.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a secure and accurate cash handling process.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure store environment, adhere to safety protocols, and report any incidents or concerns to management.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older (21 years of age or older in certain states).
  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays, and be available to work a variety of shifts.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
  • Math Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
