Overview:
This position is part of the Global Retail Policy and Strategic Initiatives team within the Global Independent Credit Risk Management division.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will spearhead strategic risk management projects and engage in various analytical assignments, including comprehensive product and program assessments to support global unsecured portfolio management teams. You will also prepare documentation for senior leadership and regulatory bodies, coordinate oversight and reporting activities, and collaborate with various departments across the organization.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Leading strategic initiatives and conducting portfolio-level analyses related to unsecured portfolio governance and associated processes.
  • Preparing materials for review by senior risk management personnel and regulatory authorities.
  • Engaging in process evaluations and comparisons across Global Retail sectors, serving as a key resource for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Maintaining and enhancing policy-related processes while developing new methods to ensure compliance with Retail Credit Risk Policy (RCR).
  • Participating in program, process, or product evaluations to identify best practices and potential policy deficiencies.
  • Assisting in the revision of RCR as necessary in alignment with strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in retail credit risk management, ideally with exposure to multiple retail lending products and functions throughout the consumer credit lifecycle. Strong analytical capabilities are essential, with a preference for candidates familiar with data visualization tools such as Tableau and other Business Intelligence platforms. Knowledge of internal systems and Retail Credit Risk Policy will be advantageous.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate the ability to synthesize diverse data sets, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver results under pressure with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, are crucial. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a graduate degree in a quantitative discipline preferred.
