POSITION SUMMARY

The Property Leasing Consultant will leverage your interpersonal skills, sales background, dynamic energy, and positive demeanor to achieve exceptional earnings potential and significant career growth. The Leasing Team Member is dedicated to maintaining 100% occupancy by fostering resident retention, leasing available units, and pre-leasing upcoming openings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)

  • Act as a representative of outstanding customer service by consistently exceeding expectations to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Implement effective leasing strategies by:
  • Warmly welcoming prospective tenants
  • Handling incoming leasing inquiries
  • Assessing needs and preferences
  • Professionally showcasing the community and available apartments
  • Utilizing feature/benefit sales techniques
  • Closing rental agreements
  • Conducting follow-ups
  • Completing all lease applications and related documentation.
  • Maintain precise lease file records in accordance with company standards; participate in lease file reviews as directed by the Community Manager.
  • Stay informed on current market trends and conditions by researching competitors and attending training sessions.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the tour path to create a positive first impression of the community.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor with colleagues, residents, prospective tenants, and vendors.
  • Assist with various community initiatives as assigned by the Community Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service and sales.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • High-energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional service.
  • Personable and approachable, both in person and over the phone.
  • Basic computer proficiency: ability to type and compose correspondence, memos, etc.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by a Leasing Consultant to successfully execute the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

While fulfilling the responsibilities of this position, the Team Member is regularly required to use hands for typing, handling, or feeling, and to talk or hear. The Leasing Consultant is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and may need to climb, stoop, or squat. Incumbents must be able to physically access all areas of the property and amenities and must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

The Leasing Consultant must be capable of pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, or maneuvering weights of up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Occasional travel may be necessary to assist sister properties as required.
