As a Property Leasing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in connecting prospective residents with their ideal living spaces. Your responsibilities will include:
Engaging with potential tenants to assess their housing requirements, conducting interviews to evaluate eligibility based on established criteria, and showcasing available units and property features following company protocols. You will provide accurate rental quotes and promotions, conduct follow-up communications, and manage the rental application process, including the collection of application fees and security deposits. Executing the applicant screening process and preparing necessary documentation based on the outcomes. Drafting lease agreements and associated addendums, maintaining accurate lease records, and managing property waiting lists in compliance with company policies and relevant housing regulations. Supporting the effective use of property management software for leasing data entry and analysis. Ensuring that apartments are move-in ready by conducting inspections and making necessary preparations. You will also distribute keys, move-in packages, and safety information during lease signings. Staying informed about current marketing strategies and leasing practices, striving to meet affirmative marketing objectives. Actively seeking new residents through outreach efforts, direct marketing, and collaboration with community organizations. You will also keep abreast of competitive rental rates and property promotions. Assisting in resident retention efforts by providing exceptional customer service post-move-in, processing maintenance requests, and supporting daily property operations to enhance resident satisfaction.Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED is required. An Associate Degree in Customer Service or Hospitality is preferred. 1-2 years of experience in Leasing or Sales is necessary. A valid driver's license may be required based on property needs. Essential skills include knowledge of fair housing laws, affordable housing programs, proficiency in Microsoft Office, personal accountability, persuasive communication, and strong customer service abilities. Familiarity with One-Site software is a plus. This role may involve up to 10% travel.Compensation and Benefits
