Position: Client Support Coordinator (CSC)

Compensation: $17.25 per hour

Compensation after certification: $18.25 per hour plus 16 hours of Paid Time Off

Employment Type: Full-time (30 hours per week)

Shift Schedule:

  • Sunday: 3pm - 11pm
  • Monday: 7am - 10am / 5pm - 11pm
  • Tuesday: 5pm - 11pm
  • Saturday: 3pm - 10pm

Role Summary:
The Client Support Coordinator is responsible for providing essential assistance and care to clients within various programs offered by the Agency. This includes community living arrangements, family support services, and vocational programs. The Coordinator will oversee daily care, educational support, and documentation of client progress.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise clients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist in developing and executing each client's Individualized Plan of Service or Individual Educational Plan.
- Educate and support clients in daily living activities, including hygiene, personal care, meal preparation, and community engagement.
- Monitor client progress towards goals and report any incidents of abuse or neglect.
- Complete necessary reports, including incident and medication error reports, and implement behavioral strategies as required.
- Collaborate with therapists and other professionals to support client development.
- Organize recreational and community activities for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
- Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
- Administer medications and provide basic health care as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of work environments.
- Transport clients to various activities and programs.
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills.
- Maintain certification in medication administration.
- Keep accurate records of clients' financial accounts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Qualifications:
- Completion of the Medication Certification Program is required.
- Certification in PMT, CPR, and First Aid is necessary.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges is preferred, though training is available for the right candidate.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Capacity to exert force exceeding 100 lbs. during physical restraint procedures.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, talk, and hear.
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Language Proficiency:
- Ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondence in English.

Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Reasoning Skills:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:
The work environment typically has moderate noise levels. Employees may need to travel and may be exposed to varying weather conditions.
