Position Overview:
The Private Dining Coordinator plays a crucial role within the Food & Beverage department, ensuring the meticulous planning and execution of exclusive events at various venues.

This position is dedicated to providing guests with an exceptional and memorable experience while managing multiple events concurrently.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and nurture client relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new clients and revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with Food & Beverage and Sales teams.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries regarding reservations.
  • Design tailored menus for clients using InDesign and Office software.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Food & Beverage offerings and apply upselling techniques.
  • Oversee event logistics, including seating arrangements, dining experiences, and guest management.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure timely payment collection.
  • Conduct quarterly competitive analysis for Food & Beverage services.
  • Assist with menu formatting and printing for the Food & Beverage division.
  • Complete event orders with detailed function information promptly.
  • Coordinate between culinary and service teams regarding menus, service notes, timelines, and guest expectations.
  • Manage events and proactively address any issues that may arise.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management, including hosting and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Strong focus on guest satisfaction, maintaining composure and courtesy at all times.
  • A genuine passion for luxury hospitality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Proficient in teamwork and collaboration.
  • Must possess valid work authorization in the US.
  • Food Handlers Card and MAST permit are required.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; familiarity with InDesign is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25lbs.
  • Frequent use of an office chair for administrative tasks.
