Job Title: Senior Human Resources Partner at USPS Training Center

Overview: Are you an experienced HR expert seeking a dynamic and fulfilling position? We invite you to consider the role of Senior Human Resources Partner at the USPS Training Center. In this pivotal position, you will oversee daily HR functions while offering strategic counsel to the faculty and staff within the training center. As an integral member of the HR team, your contributions will be vital in areas such as employee relations, performance oversight, conflict mediation, and resolution of workplace issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a reliable advisor and subject matter authority
  • Provide expert consultation on conflict mediation
  • Deliver confidential support to management
  • Conduct preliminary evaluations of employee relations matters
  • Develop and implement training initiatives for employees and supervisors
  • Collaborate with various internal partners
  • Assist in policy updates and strategic initiatives
  • Engage in HR organizational committees

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree

  • At least 36 months of HR experience in Employee Relations

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other document-sharing tools
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and communicate effectively

Certifications:

  • Active USPS Security Clearance within 90 days

Physical Requirements:

  • Capacity to engage in repetitive motions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to sit for extended periods

Department Preferences:

  • 60+ months of progressive HR experience
  • Prior experience with OU and positive discipline practices
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft and/or Cornerstone
  • Experience with Talent Acquisition Vendors
