In this pivotal position, you will oversee daily HR functions while offering strategic insights to the faculty and staff at the training center. As an integral member of the HR team, your contributions will be vital in managing employee relations, performance assessments, conflict mediation, and workplace issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a reliable advisor and subject matter authority
- Provide guidance on conflict mediation
- Deliver confidential support to leadership
- Conduct preliminary evaluations of employee relations matters
- Develop and implement training initiatives for staff and management
- Collaborate with various internal partners
- Assist in policy updates and strategic initiatives
- Engage in HR organizational committees
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree
- At least 36 months of HR experience in Employee Relations
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other document-sharing tools
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and organizational capabilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information and communicate effectively
Certifications:
- Active USPS Security Clearance within 90 days
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods
Department Preferences:
- 60+ months of progressive HR experience
- Prior experience with OU and positive discipline practices
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft and/or Cornerstone
- Experience with Talent Acquisition Vendors
