Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Services Specialist I/II to join our team at Oklahoma Human Services. As a Family Services Specialist I/II, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients, assessing their needs, and determining eligibility for various programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and Intake

Welcoming clients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our organization.

  • Needs Assessment and Eligibility Determination

Conducting thorough assessments to determine client eligibility for specific programs, utilizing your expertise to make informed decisions.

  • Interviews and Case Management

Conducting interviews with clients in an office setting or via phone, managing a caseload, and compiling data to determine eligibility.

  • Program Referrals and Community Resources

Making appropriate program referrals to community resources, ensuring clients receive the support they need.

  • Documentation and Reporting

Completing documentation and reports to track client progress and program effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Level I: Two years of clerical office work in a business, public sector, or social work environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Level II

A bachelor's degree, or an associate's degree plus two years of clerical office work in a business, public sector, or social work environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
