The University of Oklahoma HSC is seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our faculty and staff, providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a subject matter expert on employee relations, providing guidance and support to faculty and staff.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Conduct initial intake assessments of employee relations cases and maintain accurate records.
- Provide confidential support to management and staff, working closely with Legal Counsel and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Institutional Equity Office and Title IX officers to address complaints involving discrimination and harassment.
- Assist with revisions to policies, procedures, and business processes.
- Lead or support strategic projects and serve as a key member of HR organizational task forces and internal committees.
- Bachelor's degree and 36 months of professional HR experience in Employee Relations or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and other frequently used document sharing applications.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to effectively manage and communicate sensitive and confidential information.
- Advanced composition and proofreading skills.
- Active USPS Security Clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- 60+ months of progressive HR work experience.
- Previous OU experience, particularly in Human Resources.
- Previous experience directly related to positive discipline, coaching, and mentoring.
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or Cornerstone.
- Previous experience working with Talent Recruiting Vendors/Staffing Agencies.
