Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a reliable advisor and expert in the field
  • Provide guidance on conflict resolution strategies
  • Deliver confidential support to management
  • Conduct preliminary evaluations of employee relations matters
  • Develop and implement training initiatives for staff and management
  • Collaborate with various internal partners
  • Assist in the revision of policies and strategic initiatives
  • Engage in HR organizational task forces

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree

  • At least 36 months of HR experience in Employee Relations

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document sharing tools
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and communicate effectively

Certifications:

  • Active USPS Security Clearance within 90 days

Physical Requirements:

  • Capacity to engage in repetitive motions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to sit for extended periods

Department Preferences:

  • 60+ months of progressive HR experience
  • Previous experience with OU and positive discipline practices
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft and/or Cornerstone
  • Experience with Talent Recruiting Vendors
