Patient Liaison for Medical Services

Full Time/Hybrid

Schedule: 9:00am - 5:00pm

As a Patient Liaison for Medical Services at HSSConnect, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate referrals for patients seeking specialized care from HSS physicians who focus on orthopedic and rheumatologic issues. You will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, providing guidance, scheduling appointments, and directing patients to the right physician through an automated system. It is essential to possess comprehensive knowledge of all HSS physicians, their services, and offsite facilities to ensure timely and accurate referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct patients to the appropriate medical office based on their condition, insurance coverage, location, availability, and personal preferences.
  • Efficiently manage email inquiries and referral requests.
  • Accurately document all interactions in Salesforce.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Remain informed about insurance policies, revenue cycles, scheduling practices, and medical terminology.
  • Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining a professional attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Customer Service is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proven initiative, sound judgment, and resourcefulness.
  • Minimum requirement: College degree or equivalent experience.

Additional Information:

This is a hybrid position.

Compensation Range: Minimum - USD $30.21/Hr., Maximum - USD $32.48/Hr.
