About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team at Argenx. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in advancing our Medical Affairs strategy and building strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scientific Expertise
    • Develop and maintain in-depth scientific knowledge of immunology and related diseases, including current treatments and clinical development plans.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field, and apply this knowledge to inform Medical Affairs strategies.
  • Field-Based Engagement
    • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and patients to build strong relationships and provide scientific expertise.
    • Represent Argenx at scientific meetings and conferences, and participate in educational programs to enhance patient care.
  • Clinical Trial Support
    • Identify potential investigators and centers for participation in clinical research, and support feasibility assessments and site initiation.
    • Develop and execute site contact plans to build and maintain productive collaborations with sites.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Development, Medical Writing, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
    • Provide medical affairs support to internal stakeholders, including sales teams and marketing departments.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Scientific, healthcare, or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, NP, PA, RN, MS).
    • 2+ years of field-based experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a focus on clinical R&D and/or medical affairs.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
    • Strong scientific knowledge and understanding of immunology and related diseases.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
