Candidate Profile:

  • A proficient financial modeler with leadership experience in a Big4, consulting, or similar client services setting.
  • A corporate FP&A expert with prior client services experience in Big4 or management consulting, or has acted as a strategic business partner to C-level executives within their organization.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of Strategic Finance engagements, directing tasks among colleagues and maintaining client communication throughout the engagement process.
  • Design and develop work streams that often involve intricate quantitative analysis and detailed financial models to drive operational insights and enhancements.
  • Ensure the quality of client deliverables, including reporting packages, models, and KPI reports that showcase significant financial and commercial trends.
  • Review and finalize analyses on financial and operational data, including KPIs, cash flow, and net working capital.
  • Lead investigations on key areas of financial statements, identifying operational insights and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct financial reviews to identify recommended changes to current financial operations, aligning them with best practices.
  • Facilitate the implementation of best practices for financial operations.
  • Support junior team members in analyzing financials and addressing operational challenges.

Client Guidance:

  • Advise clients on integrating our reports and processes into their ongoing business operations.
  • Lead meetings and discussions focused on financial and business discovery, as well as change management initiatives.
  • Perform in-depth analyses and synthesize actionable insights from diverse data sets.
  • Consult with clients regarding modifications to team structures, business processes, or information requirements.

Communication and Development:

  • Effectively communicate with senior team members regarding the status of engagements.
  • Engage in developing new client relationships and business development activities.
  • Actively participate in building and maintaining client relationships and exploring business development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Candidates for the Senior Vice President role should possess an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; postgraduate degrees such as MAC or MBA are preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should have over 10 years of relevant professional experience in financial consulting, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, restructuring, or similar roles focused on corporate operational improvements. Experience managing multiple team members across various engagements is essential, along with the ability to provide hands-on technical training when necessary.

In addition to demonstrating a strong work ethic and leadership capabilities, candidates should exhibit sound technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation:

The base salary for this position ranges from $175k to $200k, complemented by a competitive performance-based incentive bonus. Final title and compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and capabilities assessed during the interview process.
