POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Vice President of Regional Operations to oversee our senior living communities in Southern California.

The Vice President of Regional Operations (VPRO) will lead and support community management teams and regional leaders by developing and assessing operational plans to ensure quality care, partnerships, revenue growth, and optimal business outcomes. The VPRO will be responsible for the daily oversight and management of Cogir Senior Living communities within the designated region. They will assist each community in setting sales and revenue targets, ensuring that strategic objectives are effectively communicated and implemented by management teams in the field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the daily operations of multiple senior living facilities to ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies.
  • Recruit, hire, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a collaborative work culture.
  • Develop management teams and hold them accountable for outstanding resident care and financial performance.
  • Establish long-term goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, cash flow, occupancy rates, and financial performance metrics.
  • Lead the comprehensive care continuum.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure accountability in operational management, fiscal oversight, employee development, quality improvement, vendor relations, and organizational culture.
  • Promote resident and employee satisfaction.
  • Review, develop, and implement consistent policies and procedures that exceed regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards, environmental services, and regulations.
  • Travel as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, healthcare, hospitality, or a related discipline is required.
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in retirement housing, hospitality, or healthcare operations is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and senior living operational systems.
  • Strong time management skills, initiative, and sound judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for motivating others and a commitment to professional ethics.
  • Experience in hiring and developing community leadership teams.
  • Proven track record in building partnerships within the healthcare and local community.
  • Experience in overseeing acquisitions or new facility openings is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated operational and financial success, with the ability to critically assess business objectives and implement effective improvement plans.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Visionary leadership skills.
