Key Responsibilities

Financial Oversight:

  • Lead the formulation and implementation of strategic plans, budgets, and financial projections for parking operations.
  • Assess and enhance financial and operational performance across various locations to ensure profitability.
  • Identify and address budget variances while proposing strategies for revenue enhancement.
  • Oversee the Profit and Loss for a portfolio exceeding 300 locations in Southern California, managing approximately $190 million in Gross Payment Volume.

Business Growth:

  • Facilitate the creation of new business opportunities for our premier operations management services and Metropolis technology solutions, while enhancing profitability in current operations.
  • Guide the complete business development cycle, from account strategy to successful client integration.
  • Maintain a strategic equilibrium between operational and marketing efforts to achieve optimal growth.

Client Engagement:

  • Build and sustain robust relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and clarity regarding operational and financial matters.
  • Lead negotiations and agreements with new clients, expanding business relationships.

Team Development:

  • Promote the growth of a high-performing team by creating and implementing personalized development plans.
  • Provide mentorship to team members and take necessary actions when performance does not meet expectations.
  • Encourage an inclusive environment that supports the advancement of diverse talent.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Over 10 years of experience managing multiple regions or a large geographic area within the parking sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading high-level managers and directors to achieve strategic goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, decision-making, and executing initiatives in collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with an emphasis on fostering teamwork and achieving results through experienced leaders.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and align teams with overarching business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with a diverse group of senior leaders.
  • Track record of cultivating a positive team culture that encourages professional development and high performance.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding budget expectations, developing new business, and nurturing strong client relationships.
  • Key competencies include financial analysis, familiarity with contract structures, presentation skills, negotiation skills, and strong verbal/written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with budgeting software, Salesforce, and P&L review systems is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.

Compensation: Salary range is $225,000 - $255,000 per year.
