With a presence in over 350 venues globally, we are dedicated to enhancing the experiences of our internal team members and the guests we serve through strategic investments in growth, resources, and technology.
Position Summary: The Vice President of Business Services will act as a crucial link between ASM Global's corporate leadership, regional executives, and local venues. This role is essential for the successful implementation of corporate initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Activation and Engagement: Drive the successful implementation of new programs and ensure high levels of engagement and participation.
- Transformation Initiatives: Lead and manage various transformation projects across ASM Global, contributing to the development of new programs as needed.
- Centralized Program Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain centralized programs and conduct financial analyses in partnership with corporate finance.
- Shared Services Strategy: Investigate opportunities for shared services and develop business cases to enhance financial and operational efficiencies.
- Growth and Integration: Support contract renewals, new business opportunities, and venue transitions as necessary.
- Leadership Development: Oversee the recruitment and development of talent within the business services team, ensuring succession planning and participation in strategic planning efforts.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for managing team performance, including hiring, training, and addressing employee issues in collaboration with Human Resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- 5-7 years of progressive project management experience, with at least three years in a management role across multiple business units.
- Experience in the sports, entertainment, or venue management sectors is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- High energy and a strong desire to learn and innovate.
- Proven track record of delivering results and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present to various levels of management.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel as required.
